  • Product Description
    QuietSleeve® 3430 is a highly flexible, expandable sleeving used to suppress noise on wire harnesses. Its lightweight construction also provides additional protection against rubbing.

    QuietSleeve 3430 is braided from a combination of monofilament polyester abrasion-resistant strands and multifilament, polyester, noise-suppression strands. When installed on wire harnesses, this construction provides a sound dampening and anti-rattle effect greatly reducing the noise generated by vehicle vibration.

    QuietSleeve 3430 is easy to apply and one size fits many applications since it readily expands. In addition, the open weave construction prevents condensation.

    The carefully calculated mix of strands provides a balance of key features including: flexibility, expandability, abrasion resistance, noise suppression and self-fitting recovery. These features optimize the handling properties of the sleeving and assure a longer service life for the final assembly.

    • Immersion for 15s at 23°C, followed by a drying period of
      • 24h at 150°C: motor oil, automatic transmission fluid, mineral hydraulic fluid.
      • 24h at 23°C: zinc chloride, brake fluid.
    • Immersion for 48h at 70°C, followed by a drying period of 24h at 23°C: Urea of clean up Ad blue.
